bankrupt credit card

Hi,
does anyone know if u can get any credit card once u have been bankrupt? It was my ex partners fault but all debts in my name. I was discharged dec 2006.

I would think that it will be virtually impossible until at least 2011.

You may consider a pre paid card.

if you have been discharged then it won't be impossible, only very difficult.

There will be somewhere that will give you a credit card but probably with 39% interest rate or there abouts. maybe worth considering if you can pay it off every month to build up your credit rating.
