Virgin Credit Card Repeat PURCHASE offers

Hi All,

Has anyone had a repeat purchase offer from Virgin recently? Not had one from them for about 18 months, and thinking of closing the card.

Always offering balance transfers, but I have no need of one!

Thanks

Same as you - have had frequent BT offers but not purchases. My latest 0% wit h them was due to finish in April and I've now transferred everything to other cards. Will update if another offer comes through.

All I can think of is that you ring up and say you want to close your account because of the lack of purchase offers - would they want to offer you one? Obviously they may well say no and close it, but you'd be no worse off if you are going to close it anyway.
I've never been offered a purchase 0% on mine, plenty of BTs though.

    Thanks for your replies.

That was my plan to ring and threaten closure! Just wanted to see if any were being given out, so I was armed with a bit of info first.
    Thanks

From experience, repeat 0% purchase offers are a rare beast. I've held a lot of credit cards and only had one repeat purchase offer - 0% for three months on a NatWest card last year.

Had a Virgin CC a few years ago and never had one, only BT offers.
