I'll be 66 and 5 months HH - no doubt they'll sneak the age up again though before then.

Up early today - I seemed to think it would be a good idea to have a Mr M delivery between 6.30 and 7.30 - not here yet. WW has got a new class starting at 8.30 so going to get it over and done with.

Mr SA is still full of cold and has been coughing all night.

The gloves he reckons are just what he needs for driving his scooter. So were the last pair!

I've been caught in The Great Tory Pension Grab as well; complete joke in my case as it's been so long since I was fit to work in paid employment, but already have more than enough NI contributions for the maximum state pension..
Anyway, an interesting wrinkle [until the Suited Vultures notice this anomaly] is that we still get free prescriptions from age 60! ..Whoopie, eh?

I've had one of those days today. Bought the Mail for the WW booklet, got it home only to find some @&£@ had swapped it for the Sun supplements - it was the last Mail in the shop too

Talking of WW have put on 2.5lbs which means I'm now 6lbs over goal so had to pay. Need to lose 1lb this week to be free again. On the plus side I won £5 of products on the raffle. There was hardly anyone at the early class and none of the people I usually sit with were there, so I think I'll go back to the later one next week.

Took the dog on the park this morning, it was like a mud bath after all the rain and ended up having to put the dog in the bath when we got home.

Grandkids have just gone, GS has done nothing but create havoc and scream. GD is as good as gold though. It's so peaceful now and the cat has come out of hiding.

Mr SA has just informed me he's thinking about getting some walking poles :eek:

GoOotside (you know who I mean ) have good basic walking poles for (if you have their card) £5 each atm in their sale... have actually just got a pair

Walking poles are a MUST for a decent walk / hike and me and my hiking mates swear by them... as in why the **** didn't we get these years ago

That said, I am guessing it's another of his wee notions, aye?

Yes it's another one of his wee notions US. He can barely walk a few steps without falling over. It was a bike a few weeks ago. I just wait until he moves on to the next thing and forgets the last one. I blame it on TV adverts putting ideas in his head.

TV ads are a curse for putting ideas in people's heads :mad:. You've had an annoying day with the paper, the muddy dog and noisy GS :eek:.

If you don't have any one close by with the WW supplement I could post you mine as I wont be using it or I could scan it across if easier.

Thanks EE - I've emailed the Mail so I'm hoping they might send me one. I was going to cut my losses and go out for another paper from a different shop but then I thought I have loads of WW cook books plus the magazine and would it really be worth it.
