Tonight's dinner was quorn chilli with homemade potato wedges for me, using up a bag of quorn mince been n the freezer for ages, two portions left over to freeze. Mr SA had beef chilli and chips - he would have chips with everything if he could!

Sounds really tasty! You've given me an idea - I've got a bag of soya mince languishing in my freezer! Cottage pie anyone?!

NSD 7/18 today. Never achieved more than 8 in a month so pleased with this.

Mr SA rang me at work today to say we'd run out of milk!! Told him to get on his scooter and fetch some. He then rang to say he'd picked up the wrong sort!! I wouldn't mind but I don't have milk! Funnily enough he managed to pick up 4 cans of beer with the milk, not the wrong sort of beer!

On the way to work gym at lunchtime, I was going down the concrete spiral staircase when my knee just gave way and I fell down the stairs :( Fortunately I was holding onto the rail so just shocked no damage done, but dread to think what would've happened if I wasn't.

Tonight's dinner is smoked haddock, leek and potato gratin and veg for me. Mr SA has chicken, potatoes and veg.

    Friday tomorrow :)

Just realised the NSD sounded like a contradiction with Mr SA buying milk and beer. He's not included in the NSDs, I give him £10 a week so he's got cash for a paper or whatever he wants to buy in the week.

It makes a change for me to have a fall and not Mr SA. Hopefully it was a one-off and not a downward spiral into old age and things "going"!!
