Question about Credit scoring. Advice appreciated

in Credit cards
Hi all,
Firstly, I hope this is in the correct forum. I did a quick search, and couldn't find anything specifically related to credit scoring.
Basically, I have lived in Glasgow for most of the last 8 years apart from 2 years when I lived in my parents home in Edinburgh. My phone contract, current account(s), credit card and electoral register are all registered in Edinburgh. The only things I have registered in Glasgow are utilities (Virgin Media, council tax).
What is my best approach when applying for credit? I would assume that I should put Edinburgh as my address? Or should I update all addresses to my current address in Glasgow, despite the fact I plan to move on in 6 months?
Any help/advice/guidance would be most appreciated.

It's a bad idea to have two current addresses reported to CRAs / electoral roll.
However, changing the address frequently is non a good idea too.
It's worth checking if your Glasgow address is recorded and if not, use your Edinburgh address.0 -
Thanks for your reply grumbler. Where would I find this out? Would a credit check through the likes of Equifax show if my Glasgow address has been recorded?0

After you apply for everything this time, you should consider changing all your addresses to where you actually live, unless you actually live permanently with your parents and you only have an address in Glasgow for work / study or whatever.0
