Is there a maximum limit you can transfer online

Hi
I need to transfer money for a house deposit from 2 Halifax accounts( an online saver and an online isa account) into my Halifax current account ready to organise a chaps payment to my solicitors.
Is there a maximum amount that can be moved in a transaction online or will I be able to move the full amount (£24000) I've tried the Halifax website but it's less than helpful.
Thanks

To my knowledge HSBC and Natwest have a DAILY LIMIT OF £10,000.
So £24,000 would take three days. There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.0 -
The Halifax site is very helpful about this. It tells you what your limits are when you are setting up a payment - right-hand-side Help information.Daily account limit
When making payments to other parties from your Online Banking account your daily account limit is £25,000.
This total daily account limit amount can be a combination of:
• bill payments
• payments to individuals
• new standing orders
• travel money
• the value of any increase in a standing order.
If you need to make a single payment or a series of payments that will total more than £25,000 please contact your nearest branch.0 -
I don't think there is a limit for internal transfers from one halifax account to another.
For external faster payments the limit is £25K - for chaps it is probably higher (maybe £100k?)0 -

Or you can do a search for 'daily limit' in Help and Support. http://www.halifax.co.uk/onlinebankinghelp/fasterpayments.asp?!!!!!HOME2

Ah right, I didn't read the OP properly - - I agree, for internal transfers between your own accounts, there is no limit (other than £1m or £2m, lol).0 -
And there is no need to do a CHAPS payment, the £24K you have to transfer to the solicitor is under the FPS limit for Halifax so you can use that, although I'd advise doing the transfer the day before (or even 2 days before) it has to be with the solicitor as it's not guaranteed same day unlike CHAPS.0
