EDEXCEL COST ME MY UNI PLACE!!!!

I got my A levels results and got ABB. However, I did Further Maths as an AS level, and Edexcel had added up my maths A level result wrongly. I was told that I still had a B, but a slightly higher one.

So I didn't get into Warwick uni like I wanted to, as I just missed my offer. Now I'm going to York.

And yesterday I was told that actually, I had an A in maths A level afterall, taking my grades to AAB. Which was exactly my Warwick offer, so if I'd've found out earlier I would be going to Warwick!

I'm sorry to hear of the screw up that diverted you from your desired path. People drop out or don't turn up at all at the last minute on university courses. Many are put off by the experience of the first week.
What subject were you to study at Warwick? There may be be undersubscribed courses that have a similar first year.
With research, persistance and application you can often get what you want.
