Companies House Fine

Hi
Does any one know how fast Companies House issue fines for late returns. I files 1 day late as soon as I knew about it, The company is dormant and I have a new job so it didnt even cross my mind.
Yes im not very organised
Ill pay the fine if i have too as i missed the date but didnt know if they have anu leway for the fine?

On the day after your accounts or returns were due. There is no leeway.

Payment is due on notice, which normally comes within 14 days, though you can pay by installments.0 -
Oh, and fold the company as well. Just in time for the end of tax year.0

They write to you about a month before to (a) remind you and (b) explain how fines will apply if you don't.
Another reason to ensure you have a valid registered address and not a forwarding one that may not forward such notices for months if at all.0
