Scottish Power pre pay!
Recently changed from Scottish Power to Eon, pre pay meters for gas and electric. Gas fine as we had almost run out of credit when new card arrived so credited new Eon card, received a bill from Scottish Power for 39p. Electric I top up monthly and there was alot of credit. You are advised to wait until credit gone or you lose it. Today I received a bill from Scottish Power for £39, called to ask why and the daft customer service person really had no idea! BUT it turns out that Eon HAVE been supplying Electric since 16th Feb and we have paid them nothing (due to not charging their card yet), been told we will lose our credit £16 ish now too!!!! Really fed up with rip off energy companies, any advice anyone????
