What a waste of time and effort! Rushed to get application in by 21 Jan or thereabouts to qualify for the higher rate as per MSE. Confirmed transfer went through OK.
Letter in post today dropping rate from 2.25% to a barrel-scraping 1.35%!
Just transferred back out to the Cheshire. And I thought it was just the undies that had lost the quality of the brand! Humph.

I had the same with an instant ineternet saver that had a headline interest rate of 2.35% just before Christmas which has also dropped quickly although they did give quite a bit of notice."If you act like an illiterate man, your learning will never stop... Being uneducated, you have no fear of the future.".....

I would like to transfer my cash ISA away from M&S as the rate is so bad now and think that Cheshire account looks really good.
I have never transferred a cash ISA before, is it difficult?
