Hello I am looking for some help regarding opening a bank account for my daughter which my wife can be added as the second owner.
We are looking for a current account which we can put money into our daughters account which she can access with a Switch/Maestro card if she wishes to pay for things such as cinema or whatever young girls buy.
Now this seems a logical thing however our daughter is 13 years old and she has Aspergers so she is not very good with communication. She wouldn't know what to say or ask for help in the bank if she needed to so this is why we are trying to get her mum added to the account.
We've asked in the RBOS which is our normal bank and they say we can use a card with the account she has at the moment, but we don't want this as this is a saving account which we don't want her to have access to.
This must surely be an easy thing I mean there must be countless accounts that allow this for teens with learning difficulties like my daughter.

I'd say you're overthinking this. For a start I don't see why your daughter would need to communicate with anyone at the bank other than very occasionally, I rarely speak to anyone at my main bank, and I have accounts at other banks where I have never spoken to anyone. And if something does happen that needs her to speak to them then if she and her mum call together she can give permission for the bank to speak to her mum.0

Make it a joint account and then you will have no issues.
