Hi there,
I was hoping someone could advise me on whether I could insure my recently purchased Robin reliant as a tricycle? It's about as fast as a mobility scooter and as the name suggests, incredibly reliant.
The only minor risk is that of tipping over but i've found that using 8 breeze-blocks placed at the rear of the vehicle has allowed me to counter this somewhat.
Thanks in advance,
Colin x

Have you looked at insuring it as a classic car?
Reminds me of Clarkson driving one on Top Gear.
The world will be a worse place in the future when all the cars look the same and no quirky cars.
I saw an absolutely mint Morris Marina the other day, resplendent in biege with the brown "leather" roof. Good on that man who must have been the only person wanting to restore such a car. It's actually starting to look easier on the eye and dare I say it I think with the passion for all things vintage it could make a come back in shoreditch0 -

Unfortunately it isnt actually graded by the ABI
Of cause its actually a Reliant Robin and is classified as a car0 -
If you can garage it at night and only do a low mileage you can get some seriously cheap insurance. No claims not required also.
On the down side maybe, You dont earn no claims either.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
