Any good banks for joint accounts

Can anyone help?

We are looking for a joint account.

We aren't planning on using it to pay wages in etc but would like to have one so that we can pay out bills (transfering from our own current accounts)

It can't be with Halifax as we have been with them before - also reclaimed charges.

Any one have any reccomendations?

Thanks in advance

Who are you with at the moment. If you speak to your bank they will almost certainly open a joint one and you have the advantage of instant transfers between accounts.
  • Pretty much all highstreet banks can do joint accounts.

A+L is the best current account buy at 6.5% interest bearing and 0% overdraft for one year on the premier direct, but something tell me they wont accept you, neither will nationwide as both like customers with good credit. Thus id say go to lloyds tsb, 4.25% with no fees.

What implied we don't have good credit?

Just because we claimed back charges doesn't mean that we don't have good credit - the charges are part of a long story which is partialy the reason we got the charges refunded
