Yahoo e mails - blank

My partner has a Yahoo e mail account and uses their web based e mail only.
Occasionally when I receive e mails from him (I use Outlook Express) the text of the messages is blank. If I click on 'Reply' then the original text becomes visible.
If I open up the e mail to look at its properties I see that the Yahoo email system has inserted the following in the coding:
<html><body><div style=3D"color:#000; background-color:#fff; font-family:ar=
ial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12pt"><div style=3D"RIGHT: auto"><SPAN=
style=3D"RIGHT: auto"></SPAN></div>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV id=3Da> </DIV>
<DIV id=3Db style=3D"RIGHT: auto; VISIBILITY: hidden">Beloved</DIV>
<DIV style=3D"RIGHT: auto; VISIBILITY: hidden"> </DIV>
<DIV style=3D"RIGHT: auto; VISIBILITY: hidden">The cake has gone down a sto=
rm!!!!!</DIV>
<DIV style=3D"RIGHT: auto; VISIBILITY: hidden"> </DIV>
<DIV style=3D"RIGHT: auto; VISIBILITY: hidden"> </DIV>
<DIV style=3D"RIGHT: auto; VISIBILITY: hidden">XXX<VAR id=3Dyui-ie-cursor><=
/VAR></DIV>
<STYLE type=3Dtext/css></STYLE></div></body></html>
Which is causing the text to be hidden.
We're not sure why this is happening, it happens to about one in ten e mails.
Any suggestions as to how to rectify this would be much appreciated.

Ditch Yahoo and get gmail instead

You could always unsubscribe/delete yahoo mail and install it again.
You didn't say which browser you are using. I access yahoo mail from both IE and chrome, but chrome has presented me with a few issues of late, so much so that if I have several emails, sometimes it is quicker to minimise the screen and open IE and log in there.
and for the record, I've just centered my attention on gmail but I don't think I'm going to like it.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
