My Brother MFC-845CW wont print!
Here is what is happening: I send a job to the printer viva wireless and/or wired network and it chugs along nicely as if connected and printing, it expels the paper, but nothing is printed on the page.
The only problem I can think of is that my nephew gave me the printer because I only need a printer occasionally and all I use is the black. He told me at the time though that the colour print head was broken. That said I had got the machine printing when I first set it up about four weeks ago and I haven't been back to it since
What could be the matter?

Have you checked your printer ink levels? Are they full? Is the printer cartridge old? (Sometimes they can be full, but dried up because it hasn't been used in a long time...)? Does it work if you choose only black and white printing? It shouldn't need to use the colour print head if you are only printing black and white...
Hope this helps somewhat!0 -
do you have the brother status monitor on a connected pc? Usually tells you if there is a problem - I have one of ht e MFC series and it tends to refuse to do anything when the ink levels are down - does it have individual colours or one cartridge with the three? it sounds like it could be dried upThis is a system account and does not represent a real person.
