Where is best to get tinned chickpeas? I have found them in Sainsbury's before for 4 tins for £1 in the world food aisle but it is a bit out of the way to go there if they are not on offer. The best I have seen is 3 for £1 in Home Bargains.
Many thanks.

ASDA are currently doing KTC brand chick peas for 3 for £1.00. However, they only seem to be stocked in the larger stores and those in areas with an "ethnic community".
From their website, Tesco are also doing East End brand chick peas for 3 for £1.00 until 19/03/2013.
I don't know about Tesco's stock policy and ASDA don't quote end dates for their offers. If you fold it in half, will an Audi A4 fit in a Citroen C5?

Thanks Steve, seems like 3 for £1 is the best deal then.0

ALDI or LIDL might be cheaper. IIRC, my last tin of red kidney beans cost 31p. Unfortunately, their websites don't allow "ROBOshopping".If you fold it in half, will an Audi A4 fit in a Citroen C5?

I've seen them four for a pound in the World Foods section of Tesco and Asda - as Steve says KTC or East End brands - but it's not often so I buy a tray at a time. Otherwise try an Indian/ Pakistani grocery store if you can get to one.
I believe you can soak dried chickpeas and freeze, might ask on Old Style.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0 -
You can soak them, then cook them and freeze in portions. I do this every so often if I'm feeling worthy - it works too with soup mix, kidney beans and wild rice (that I know of, I'd imagine that it'd work with most things like that).0

Thanks all, I do have dried ones and have processed and frozen some but there are times I am just not that organised and only tinned chickpeas will do0
