Grants for Radiator/Room Thermostats?
Hi,
I'm looking at putting these into every room in the house:-
http://www.conrad-uk.com/ce/en/product/570055/FHT-8-Wireless-Heating-Control-Set
I've already got two and it made a real difference. The two rooms used to be either very cold or very hot. I couldnt seem to get the radiator valve (trv) on the correct number. Now the house seems to be quite an even heat.
I was wondering, are there any government grants or offers from energy companies available that I could use to buy enough thermostats for each room?
Also, I've got one radiator without a TRV (in the bedroom). I want to put a trv on that radiator. But I got a quote and since it requires a drain of the system, its going to cost around £140. Are any energy companies installing TRVs for free at the moment?
Many thanks
Dan

It's normal to have one rad on a system without a TRV, normally in the zone where the rooom 'stat is fitted.
Whay is the point in having these as well as (working) TRV's?No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
No grants for those.
