Just tried to open a second account at a casino to be told that you can only have one account per computer. The casino requires you to download the casino software and to install it on your pc. Before trying to open the 2nd account i thought i had completely uninstalled the downloaded software from my first account and deleted all my cookies and internet history using the tools / internet options function.
However, the casino still recognised that i already had an account even though i tried using different address details etc.
How did it do this. I assume it must have saved something in the pc registry?? Anyone know how i could get rid of or at least get around? I have seen software on the web that apparently completely deletes stuff- would that work as the ones i've seen cost...
Grateful for any advice.

Yup, it's probably a Registry entry, or some small file hidden away with a totally innocent name during the install process.
I have seen the claims some of these auto-registry-cleaning programs make, and have also seen some remarkably unusable PCs after they have been run.
While some of them may work in certain situations, I would suggest that they might cause problems.0
