Have a look on Opodo i just found a flight with Aer Lingus £535 sorry one stop .But think it be good to have a stop on a long flight.
Damn then when i clicked on that flight it says its not available .0 -
Hi - any advice on cheapest way to fly to Australia from Dublin or Belfast between 11-17 March. Direct to Sydney - one way.
Many thanks
So far cheapest 634 with BA on 14th
With a weeks notice i'd grab a price like that asap, it's difficult to get low prices at the last minute (assuming return price btw)0 -
have a look here http://www.skyscanner.net/flights/dub/syd/130311/airfares-from-dublin-to-sydney-kingsford-smith-in-march-2013.html
They have stops but BA seems to be a stop in Heathrow then its direct.
Yeah to me its cheap as its a single and not a return and single always cost more.Make sure you dont have to have a return ticket to get into Australia.0 -
Immigration typically asks people for proof of onwards travel. If you can't provide proof, they would probably ask if you had the means to pay for it (ie. a credit card with a high limit).have a look here http://www.skyscanner.net/flights/dub/syd/130311/airfares-from-dublin-to-sydney-kingsford-smith-in-march-2013.html

According to skyscanner BA do a flight from Dublin to Heathrow and then non stop to Sydney. £634
Maybe they do in-flight refuelling.
Edit: It actually stops at Singapore to refuel so it's direct, not non-stop.0 -
soz should have said stop in Abu Dhabi. There was a cheaper option on skyscanner but meant getting across Dublin - gatwick to heathrow (or maybe it was vice versa)
Guy thats travelling has a visa for working etc so ok booking single ticket.
Just wondered if anywhere other than skyscanner to check.
Thank you all so much for your posts
