pretty well thanks, we've 3 and that's enough stress for me :rotfl:
Heating and diesel is our biggest budget issues at the minute. Our budget was based on gas ch in a 3 bed house, now we rent a 4 bed house on oil, budget is £50pm now costing £70 per week and paid in advance. Had hoped the last delivery would see in the spring but looking more likely we'll have to buy more soon then the thirsty car is to MOT at the end of month.
Think the savings pots will all be flattened by the end of monthRoll on DFD, final payment 1st October 2017 :beer:0 -

I hate taking tax credits to... but the cost of living is just ridiculus
Why??
Take it if you can! I refuse to consider it a 'benefit' it's repaying the taxes I pay out of my hard earned salary
It's stupid that I get back each week in tax credits almost what's paid out in tax
PPI Success :- Egg Card - £ 8471.84 ~ HFC Loan - £ 8312.67 ~ Halifax Loan - £ 334.67
DFD ~ Jan 2019  Christmas 2014 fund ~ £ 150 / £ 500

Hi,
Been in my IVA since 2008 with Debt Free Direct, following the recent breakup of my marraige I had to offer my creditors all payments to date as a full and final settlement, my creditor meeting was last friday..........and they accepted my offer, much to my relief, now if I can offer anyone just starting an IVA one piece of advise, it is this, YOU are incharge of any offers you make to your creditors via your IP, state your costs acuratly and dont leave anything out, as its usually the small things that add up, like kids school dinners, or pocket money etc, dont let your IP bully you into lowering your costs if its not practicle to do so, you must stand up for yourself as your creditors want as much money as possible from you, you will find if they beleive your offer is not enough they will ask you if you can, for example, spend just £40 on clothes instead of £60, if you find you cant manage on the money you have available, tell your IP, they have a certain amount of discresion to lower your payments without contacting your creditors, but you can also apply to have your payments lowered permanently if needed, all in all my experiance with DFD was not too bad, I only heard from them once a year for my review, on more than one occasion, due to my circumstances, I missed at least 6 payments in a row, without penalty, a new lower payment been agreed, nothing happens fast once an IVA has been approved, creditor meetings take months to arrange, just dont be afraid of the process, and if you have any problems tell your IP.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. we are a hard working family thankyou very much. We neither smoke drink or go out. Not that's none of your business.
I have had nothing but help on here from people that dont know me especially fiatfan and uptomyneckinit...
Then you pop up adyj73 with a ridiculus comment, what makes you think I belong on jeremy Kyle??
not that I have to explain myself but baby number 4 was carefully planned 3 years ago, we had a lot of trouble took 3 years to conceive and he is somewhat of a miracle baby.
now........
we had our money planned, then my wife lost her job just before christmas and our debts went out of our control.
Kindly take your comments elsewhere you rude, horrible troll
