you'll have to loose presents and social they wont be allowed

    Thanks mysterio,

See, there's the rub. Advice from one place states that you can claim for social and prezzies, and other advice avenues advise you can't.

Is there a definite black and white example for setting out your SOA or is it up to the individual OR?

    Most confused.

    Thank for the comments anyway.

To be honest looking at the figures I don't think the OR will quibble too much. There is large surplus for an IPA so £10 here or there will not make much difference
  • Good morning Mr G everything looks ok to me, as you will have a large surplus for an ipa make sure you are on the right side and your amounts are enough and a true figure.
my or was really good and would not allow £25 for hair but moved £10 onto another area, they want to be fair so you don't get into debt again. xx

    Morning, Choccers.

I have double checked all the figures and they are all to the penny, or nearest damn-it.

I'm not sure if there's anything else I could include (feel free to advise).

Agree about the IPA - £540 is quite large but if that's what's left then so be it. There's not much I can do about that.

    Thanks for the comments, kepar.

Off the top of your head, is there anything else I could include, or any amounts that could be revised to benefit me?

31.7.113 Social and entertainment expenses (amended April 2012)

No allowance should be included for social and entertainment expenses (e.g. cigarettes, alcohol, betting etc.) these should not be funded at the expense of creditors. Only in exceptional circumstances should the official receiver/trustee allow any flexibility concerning these expenses (see Annex D).
