Regular Saver

Hello,
I am looking to put a small amount away each month for a year in order to pay a bit more off my mortgage.
Can anyone recommend the best one?
I have seen Barclays regular saver which is 3.2% for a year. However it appears that I need to have a Barclays current account.
Any advice much appreciated, thank you

Apologies thank you0

If its to pay off your mortgage, would it not be better to just put towards your mortgage each month? Typically your mortgage rate will be higher than savings minus tax (which will typically be about 2.4% or less gross)0

Unfortuntly my mortgage company (bank of ireland) wont allow me to increase my monthly payments only make extra payments. SO rather than phone up every month I would rather pay a lump off.0

You can open a Barclays regular saver without having one of their current accounts (I opened one recently). You can't open it online or on the phone, you have to visit a branch. Also, you can't use their online services.0 -
Also First Direct Regular Saver is back today at 6%"Look after your pennies and your pounds will look after themselves"0
