I receive at least 100 - 200 email a day.
I also have about 20 separate message filters set up, so all important emails show in the inbox, whilst others go to the relevant folders.
So yeah 1 email is hardly excessive or classed as spamMansion TV. Avoid at all cost's :j0 -
I highly recommend setting up a second email account for online shopping and mailing lists and such outside of the account you use for business."Some folks are wise and some are otherwise." - Tobias Smollett0

Any company that sends an email to its subscribed list every day is irresponsible. Amazon are the only "legit" company that I have known to do this. The problem is that they have automated systems set up to do it for them and probably most of the time they don't know what their customers are receiving."Some folks are wise and some are otherwise." - Tobias Smollett0 -

If every mailing list I was on took amazons approach I reckon I'd get at least 150 extra emails every day. Most companies couldn't risk it but I guess amazon are pretty comfortable with their position in the market!
At my last job they sent me on an email marketing course and the trainer talked about Spam and "bacon" where bacon was email you'd subscribed to, but didn't really want. I think amazon's spam might actually be bacon!0
