I can't file a NPB alert.

I tried to file a non paying bidder alert for an 2 items my bidder and I decided not to complete.
When it comes to the bit where you enter the reason for the cancellation, my browser crashes.......everytime.
If I try to go through a different link from a different part of the site, it still crashes the browser.
I've done all the maintenance things on my pc, everything else works fine.
Anyone else have this problem

yep it crashes on me loads , the way i got round it was a) keep trying and b) when it crashes press back then refresh then back again and that should take you to the close dispute page again. then just keep repeating and it gets through in the end.
its funny cos i thought it was just my pc
hope that helps ya:)0 -
If you have started the NPB process and don't want to complete it and place a strike on the buyers account then you don't actually need to do anything.
The Process needs to be 'completed' only if you want the strike on the buyers account, otherwise it doesn't mean anything at all. So just leave it as it is and that is fine.

If both parties decide not to follow through with the transaction, to get your fees back, you have to file a NPB alert, it asks for a reason, you choose the option "both parties decided not to etc etc ".
If both parties agree to this,
The seller get his fees back and the buyer does'nt get a strike. The buyer will only get a strike if he/she does not respond to the request.
However, I can't file one.
My browser just closes down. I can't press go back. I tried everything.
I even e-mailed ebay 2 days ago... no response.

Hi,
I just had this problem and I remembered your thread hoping to find out the answer.
I have just resolved it by installing a new browser I believe the problem was with Internet explorer, you can download Mozilla firefox for free from https://www.mozilla.com.
Hope this helps if you haven't resolved it already.

Does ebay automatically refund your fees? I filed a npb alert about 4 weeks back and whilst the "resolution centre" says im entitled to a refund of fee`s its not actually giving me an option to request them.0

Have you closed it?
After you are eligible you have to close it to actually get the refund0 -
update :
Had to get a mate to log onto my account with another pc.
Filed 2 NPB alerts, both deciding not to complete the deal, they get an e-mail , and if they agree (which they did ), you get your fees back automatically.
I didn't have to do anything.
Incidentally, I have just filed another NPB alert, and this one went through ok, just have to wait for the newbie ebayer to get his/her act together and reply or they get a strike.
I feel it's my duty to teach these people a lesson. I can feel a big red neg coming its way to them
Really annoying that they get to give me one too ! and I haven't done anything wrong
Wouldn't have happened if I had been able to block them in the first place
