No fix in sight for BT landline fault

Hello moneysavers,
I reported a landline fault with BT more than two weeks ago and my line is still dead.
The estimated repair date for my incident number is 22 February 2020, almost 7 years from now.
I have contacted the call centre several times and on each occasion they assured me the problem would be resolved within 48 hours, and consistently missed their estimate.
I changed to Line Rental Saver about two months ago so it appears I am at their mercy.
Any advice on what my options are?
