Please does anyone know if it is possible to get search results from just UK sites rather than all of those !!!!py US ones as well?

I am sure it used to be an option, but I can't work out now how to only get UK results.

Thanks.

Google chrome is a web browser not a search engine.

I presume you are using the Google website for searches in which case once you get the results of your search come up you click on 'Search Tools' then click on 'The Web' to get a drop down menu which has 'Pages from the UK'

It's a bit long winded and not exactly user friendly but at least you get the results you want.

    Found in the Google forums.

Set this as your Main Google page.

It's already set to UK only.

I find that typing uk after the search terms works pretty well.
Error! - Keyboard not attached. Press any key to continue.

Google search toolbar is built into chrome just as Bing is now built into IE.

You just type any term into the address bar and Chrome searches Google for it.

I believe it is this that the OP is asking for guidence on.
I started with nothing and I am proud to say I still have most of it left.
