HI there, I wonder if anyone could help me:

I want to know if this is possible:

I have two email accounts i use to send and receive emails on

When i send an email to someone say joebloggs@btopenworld.com that the email is sent via my 1st email account and as soon as i hit create email and type joeblogs@btopenworld.com it automatically selects that email account to send email on?

Is it poss? Is it a rule i need to create?

I have the same setup on outlook 2003

To change the default sent from account open the tools menu and select accounts

on the Mail tab hilight the acoount you want to be the default and press the Default button

All you mail will be sent from that account from now on.

If you just want to change the from address for one mail you can press the little down arrow which is on the right of the send button when writing an email

I see what you mean. I know that already thanks.

What i need to know is, can i send via a specific email address based on the recepient? (Hope that makes sense!)

i.e all emails addressed to joebloggs@btinternet.com goes via email account 1 and all emails to alex@btinernet.com goes via email account 2 ?

is it a rule i create on the basis of the addresses receipients? ???
