25k to save

I am looking to invest 25k, I have looked around and nothing seems to be paying anything over 3% (Santander 123). Does anyone know of how I can get a better return. I will probably want the money after 2years or so but I want it to be really working.
Many thanks

that is because there isn't anything. Probably due to QE and funding for lending.
The removal of UK's AAA might mean better things coming up from NSI but who knows?
Th only way to do better is to invest, but your time horizon is too short.0 -
If you are a taxpayer you might as well use your cash isa allowance.
