paypal weekly/monthly direct debit

Hi
Is it possible to set up a weekly/monthly direct debit with Paypal, so that regular payments are taken from my Banl account to my Paypal account?

I have tried put it only seems to give the option of a one-time payment. There doesn't seem to be a option to make a weekly/monthly direct debit.

    How do you see this? PayPal isn't a credit account. Either preload it or pay there and then by a DD. I.e. when you pay by PP for something, this amount gets taken by a DD from your current account immediately.

    Not quite sure why you would want to do this - it's never a good idea to hold money with PayPal. If you really want to though there is an option to send money to PayPal using a bank transfer - they give you a payment reference number to use that is unique to your account. All you'd have to do is set up a standing order from your bank account using that reference.
