Blackrock Gold & General acc pension fund

Hi everyone, was wondering what peoples views are on this fund & similar ones out there, for investing in your pension on a pound cost average basis for future growth? looking at the various funds available to me they seem to be in the doldrums due to the expensive cost of extracting the metal, will demand in the future push these up or will they continue to languish?
