2 books were out of stock, taking it to £13. I've just checked and they have charged me £9.83 postage for the remaining 13 books, hardly a bargain now...! So instead of costing me £15 its costing £22....not happy
email or phone them and explain and they usually just take off the postage. be nice thoughat least at first.

I may be wrong but a lot of these items are simply being snapped up by amazon traders and then the prices are being pumped up to whatever the trader thinks they can sell for.0

Well I've received a response. They are unable to refund me now as the order has just been despatched, but they said to contact us again once the delivery has arrived, then they'll process a refund for the postage!

It's not gone up in price - it's just out of stock from Amazon direct now. When it goes out of stock, they show the next lowest price from their sellers - in this case from 'ArgosyToys'.
Thats very true, as long as your existing open orders does't reflect the increased price, you don't need to worry, as those were placed when it was £4.99
I too ordered it and in my open orders it is still showing as £4.990 -

I think you had to be quick to get what you wanted on this occasion.`Save a little money each month, and at the end of the year, you'll be suprised at how little you have.0
