Dont think this has been posted.
If you are aged between 16-21, A&L have bought out a current account that pays out a whopping 10% interest AER(fixed until 31/07 when rates goes down to BoE base rate minus 1%) up to £1000 (higher than that is 0.1% AER) . Only need to pay in £250 per month. 0% debit interest FOR LIFE (£3 per month fee if overdraft used though which makes it not so good if you only use it a little). Also the refer a friend as well. Heres the link.

Hi AdamB,
I posted information about it on this thread when it was released (you can see the press release and an article on it there.) I agree that the overdraft is not a good deal but the 10% interest is.

I don't think A&L check your date of birth when you apply for a current account online.
Well a family member got a current account from them at age 20 when the minimum age was 21 by adjusting the year of the date of birth on the application form.
