I have always cut OH's hair - he likes a number 1 so its not hard to do:eek:

Its going thin now so he's got the Phil Mitchel type of look;) :D

I used to cut my 2 boys when they were younger but now they prefer the barbers as they like a sort of spikey fringe.Still I've saved a fortune of hubbys hair over the years:D

As for mine I colour it myself but as I like it very short and it grows like wildfire I need it cut every 4 or 5 weeks at the cost of a tenner! but I'm worth it!:D

I've just managed to get a pair of Ceramic Clippers for £7 :D The old ones just stopped cutting so they went in the bin last month. I found a code giving £13.50 off from Littlewoods for a £30 spend so combining the clippers with a jumper for my dad for Fathers Day and using some cashback they owed me both items came to £14 :D

The clippers are fantastic with interchangeable blades to do layering and tramlines, a cape, scissors and even stencils :D
Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

I've never been in a proper hairdressers place in my life. Ever since I can remmeber my hair has always been cut by my dads best friends wife. She's never charges us a penney and we can ask for whatever style we want as she used to be a hairdresser so knows how to do most styles. She's a money saving point thats for sure as I get my hair cut to a different style 1-2 times a year and trimmed around 4-6 times a year. Must save me about £140/yr :D .
I am a vegan woman. My OH is a lovely omni guy :D
  • I cut my 2 ds hair for years after I was too embarrassed to back into a barbers. I had taken them aged 3 and 5 into the local barbers shop and there was a long queue. I was the only woman in the shop. Men were reading the paper and chatting when suddenly a little voice pops up with "Mummy what's a condom?" The shop went silent and I never went back! BTW the answer was to stop babies being made.

DS1 "Mom, can you cut my hair to look like Thierry Henry's?" Me - "I'll give it a go." Result = one near enough bald son!!!!:rotfl: We've told him he looks like Freddie Ljungberg but no one is convinced. :D
