I agree with bluesnake's "however...". You must have been interested in the £27K job even though you knew where it was, and they must have been interested in you. If there are no commitments (mortgage, dependents, etc.) to keep you where you are then your first concern really should be your own prospects, and if those can be improved by moving to a new area then you should seriously consider doing it.0
