I posted my transfer forms on the 4th April to Santander and the money is in my account today. Is this a record?

Defiantly a lot better than my experience at the movement! Sent mine end of march and Santander state they sent the transfer request to lloyds on 2nd April, but lloyds claiming not received, so have had to contact Santander today to ask them to chase it up/resend the request to lloyds!

Ive been to HSBC and halifax brances today, asking about how to set up DD between my current account on halifax and my saving account on hsbc, and both branches saying that i cant do DDs between them, only standing orders, and that DDs only between organisations, paying bills, etc
    what to do :)

    Posting that link once more.......https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4168667

yes its a normal with fixed rate isas, no subsequent deposits, hence the better rate you get :)

Makes sense. I see that the new Santander 2 year fixed rate does allow a deposit next year as well though. Not worth me closing and re-investing as last years rate was good.

Are you sure? For the current 123 Exclusive Major ISA Santander's website says:
    Santander wrote:
Deposits for 2013/14 tax year can be made up to and including 30 May 2013. No subsequent additional deposits.

So they're saying for the current tax year 2013/14, you must deposit by 30 May 2013 (ie less than 2 months away)

People often don't read the terms and conditions.

Last year's Major ISA did state quite clearly, the time limit for adding funds.
I believe it was the 14th April 2012.

I've processed my Santander through Quidco. Predictably it didn't show up, so I raised a manual claim.
    :mad::mad:

Mine failed to track as well.

I rarely have tracking problems and I cleared my cookie before hand, and even still have the cookie on my hard drive showing the cashback site as the referrer!

Invariably when cashback through Quidco etc is not being paid it's because people didn't use the cashback site correctly.

How do you know? Iirc you forgot to use it when applying.
As with a lot of people on here I did everything totally correct and it didn't end up working.

How do I know? I have been using cashback sites since 2004, made literally thousands in cashback, and heard many a story from disgruntled users. You are right, I did forget to go through a cashback site when I signed up for my 123 current account, and then again when I signed up for the 123 credit card. Unforgivable, ridiculous, I know. Once is a mistake but twice??!?!?! I have no explanation, I just laugh about it now.

However, this doesn't change the fact that invariably, non-payments from cashback sites are due to people not using them properly.

Note came down today that all 2012 2 Year Major ISAs i.e. the 4% version from last year are being monitored centrally and anyone who tries to deposit into them this year will have their deposit cancelled and a cheque sent back to them.

Breach the T&C at your own risk.

    Fair enough.
