I did get it, so it can work, but from other threads it sounds like other people have had problems0 -
Invariably when cashback through Quidco etc is not being paid it's because people didn't use the cashback site correctly.0

Well mine was a couple of years back now but yes I did.
I guess I have been lucky I have never failed to get cashback via Quidco:) The key is either always clear your cache or use a different PC from the one you've been browsing/searching on.

Despite my reservations about transferring both mine and OH's ISAs to Santander, I am happy to say the transfer has been absolutely smooth and painless.
Having applied online with immediate confirmation of opening, I posted our transfer forms on 29th March and received letters today to say the transfers are complete!

I posted my transfer forms on the 4th April to Santander and the money is in my account today. Is this a record?Be happy, it's the greatest wealth0

I've processed my Santander through Quidco. Predictably it didn't show up, so I raised a manual claim. A month has passed with no update and this is Quidco's response:
"Don’t worry - Santander 123 Current Account has been taking an average of 5 months to process claims up to confirmation stage."

Pretty good going. I did a transfer from Lloyds to Santander last year - requested on April 11, all had been done by April 16. So similar experience to yours.
They subsequently confused the living life out of me by debiting and crediting the amount again, claiming this has been done to sort out the interest payment. I remain to get convinced of that - - the proof will be in the pudding when I get my interest on May 1.0 -
In a nutshell, yes - - though I would probably not use a Santander esaver DD to fee a Santander 123 - - - - looks too much like taking the proverbial. You have plenty of other choices - - Tesco probably being one of the most easiest. If you then have a Halifax, you are done.
Though it sounds a great shame not to get any cashback for DDs...are you sure you have absolutely no qualifying ones?
If that is truly the case, then may be you'd do better with the CC. That is, if you would spend anything that attracts cashback, lol..............
Ive been to HSBC and halifax brances today, asking about how to set up DD between my current account on halifax and my saving account on hsbc, and both branches saying that i cant do DDs between them, only standing orders, and that DDs only between organisations, paying bills, etc

Tried to deposit in £5760 into my 2 year fixed major 123 ISA. It went out of my lloyds account, then 2 hours later has been refunded back into my lloyds.
Can I only deposit money into my ISA through branch or telephone?
My other ISA frmo 12/13 is being transferred into it as we speak.
I had a rejection of my £5760 as well. Turns out the 2 year fixed rate ISA I opened last April doesn't allow any subsequent deposits. I wasn't told this at the time. Did anyone else not know or is it the norm with fixed rate ISAs ?0 -
