As long as you stick below £85k (incl accruing interest) in any financial organisation that offers FSCS protection, your money is as safe as you can get. Santander UK offer FSCS. Don't listen to mal-informed people yapping about Santander being spanish because that is entirely irrelevant in the context.0 -
When completing the Santander ISA transfer form, has anyone else had to enter an existing ISA a/c no. with more than 8 digits? If so, do you just enter the first 8 electronically and then add the remaining one(s) with a pen after printing the form?0

on looking at the application form for 2.5% direct Isa it says you cannot tranfer an existing Santander cash Isa so does that mean i cannot open this up to transfer my Santander Isa at 3.3 % which finish on 25th April or can i open it up and transfer after that date and also put in my 2013/14 allowance after 6th april this year0

Where does it say that? All I can find isExisting Santander Cash ISA customer? - Call 0845 600 0181 or visit a Santander branch. Apply now to upgrade to this cash ISA account.
EDIT: seems they also have an internal ISA transfer form now: http://www.santander.co.uk/csgs/StaticBS?blobcol=urldata&blobheader=application%2Fpdf&blobkey=id&blobtable=MungoBlobs&blobwhere=1223428158906&cachecontrol=immediate&ssbinary=true&maxage=36000 -

I think you leave the account number blank and enter all the digits into the "Roll Number" field.0 -
Hi,
I have this question?
Its not about the ISA but the 123 account so I hope its ok to post on here?
Trying to work out which pays the best interest?
The 123 account with a balance of around £5K
OR
eSaver issue 6 monthly interest with bonus till Aug 2013?
Think the 123 is around 3% monthly (not sure if this is 100% correct) but cant seem to find much about the esaver issue 6 monthly interest rate?
Thanks in advance,
Ade0 -

You are right, not the best thread to ask..............but anyway, from an interest rate point of view, it's 6 in one and half a dozen in the other, both are 2.96% monthly.
