How do I end an Item early

I have an item on ebay and did state in the auction that I had it advertised elsewhere and I may have sold it privately. If I have how do I close the auction Early also I have noticed that people have in their heading 'please do not bid this item is sold' How do I do that??

I know how to revise the text but not the heading?

to revise the heading you need to go to thge item click on revise and then click edit title when the page comes up. then just change the title from there.

to end the listing early you need to look in my ebay and look at the item you are selling at the end of that row will be a box click the down arrow and then click end item.

To cancel your auction.
Go to site map, scroll down to 'end my listing', click on this, then enter the item number. This will then open a page regarding ending and will have various reasons, like 'item not for sale' etc .. choose one and submit. Your item is then ended and you will receive an email from ebay to confirm this. If there are any bids on the item, the bidders will be notified by ebay as well.

I cannot see an option to edit the title is that because their is bids?

I will end it I was just looking at my options. the person who is buying the item is coming to collect tonight. I dont want to end the auction until she has purchased the item.

sorry yes if you have bids you cant change the title you can only add to the description.

also if you end early dont forget to e-mail the highest bidder and tell them why etc...
