Which bathroom silicon sealant?

Hi,

I need to re silicon in my shower / bath / kitchen and rather than redo the job frequently I'd like to use the best, long lasting silicon out there!

B&Qs own brand (which claimed long lasting, anti mould etc) went an orangy pink colour quite quickly, so rather than experimenting myself, does anyone have a recommendation?

Something that will stay white and resist mould for as long as possible!!

I bought a well known brand of sealant from B&Q and I am sure if was not the same as the same product from elsewhere. (Slightly different packaging, same sealant.)

Dow Corning (786 I think) is supposed to be pretty good - I've got it on mine and it has stayed clear for longer than others.

Ive always used Unibond Anti-Mould Sealant in Brilliant White. Ive had no problems in 6years with this and its easy to apply.

Unless you want it food safe in which case you would use 786. ;)

But yes 785 each and every time for me in a bathroom.
