    Update!

    Have just spoken to Customer Services, who I must say were fantastic. Explained the situation and lady said it would have all been in the T&C's and had I read them, to which I said yes. She said that it should be in there about being able to board with children as a priority and i asked where abouts it stated that in their T&C's. She went off to find out.

    When she came back I said that I had been reading the T&C'c whilst she'd been off and it actually said that people with a speedy boarding pass were are to board the plane after 'the priority boarding group'. I asked who they were and she said people with disabilites. I then told her that I had received an email from easyjet cs saying that the priority boarding group included people with disabilites AND passengers with children under 5.

    She then offered me a refund straight away! She said that her supervisor had been listening to our conversation :eek: and that he would take my points 'further'!! So I said if thats the case tell him it would be a great idea to add a pop up box when you add the speedy boarding option into your basket saying that if you have kids under 5 or if you have a disability you are already given priority so there is no need to pay for it.

    She thought that was a great idea! Result - £40 back into my account! Yippee!!:j

    i love priority boarders. for an extra few quid they feel special. however when a bus journey to the plane is involved I make sure it get on at the doors.

    its a waste of money anyway, 20 priority boarders and so few leg room seats.

    whilst discussing planes, assume the plane is seconds from disaster, if people were as slow exiting the aircraft in an emergency as they do on a normal exit, there isnt a hope in hell in getting off. grrr my pet hate anyway

    Excellent news, and very heartening too ... it means there is still a low cost airline operating from the UK with decent customer service.
