vent - dentures lost by dental surgery?

Had THIRD appointment for denture fitting today, following previous supposedly non delivery by the makers.. only to be told they STILL havent arrived..
Found out name of lab- they say was sent out last week, may well have been left in the courier box so on its way back..?
I wonder if this shoddy treatment would occur, if I was on private fees..
do you think i have grounds for some compensation, perhaps in line with their 'missed appointment' charges?
Reception staff dismissed request to lodge a complaint, as seemingly nowt would hapen.. I want to escalate this, without spoiling chances of getting treatmet finished!

Just want to respond to this bit. Mistakes happen, even for patients who go privately. However if you are that desperate to find out, you know what you have to do...0 -
