Price comparison sites - Help !!
I moved house in december 06 and inherited B G for gas on there standard tariff and Southern Electric for electric also there standard tariff having looked on the various comparison sites listed i am totally baffled by all the figures quoted.
Gas - Worked out annual usage (based on what we've used so far) will be approx 27000kw
Electric annual usage will be approx 5000kw
I've got so many different figures now (some dual fuel, some gas or electric only with and without standing charges) i'm totally confused and haven't got a clue which is the best way forward...... can anybody shed any light on the subject !

The one certain thing is you can do much better that your current arrangement.
If you can cope with an Internet account they will be considerably cheaper.
I don't know how you have worked out your consumption of 27,000/5,000kWh but bear in mind that your consumption, particularly of gas, will be much lower for the next 6 months or so.
BG Click Energy 2 seems to be very competitive now. Perhaps if you entered them into the comparison site as your supplier for dual fuel(using kWh) you will get an idea who, if any, are cheaper.0
