Sugar soap from any DIY or grocery store: scuffs and fingerprints from paintwork that don't come off with anything else, filthy windows (bus exhausts), greasy metal venetian blinds (open plan kitchen-living).

Oven Pride is amazing and inexpensive at Home Bargains and Wilkinsons, leave in overnight resist the urge to 'check' every couple of hours and everything wipes away so easily. There used to be a really long thread on oven cleaners and the two winners by a country mile were Oven Pride and something from Lakeland.
