Any help appreciated on this problem please.
I had WindowsNT installed, then upgraded to WindowsXl.
I now have :
Local Disc C - 356MB free space, total size 4.97GB
Local Disc E - 20.9GB free space, total size 28.6GB
I keep getting error message about low free space on Disc C.
Is it possible to transfer some of my free space on Disc E over to C?
I do not have a windows installation disc.
Thanks.
Anna

You will need something like partition magic or gparted to do that, gparted is free, but you will have to delve into the depths of a linux bootcd to use it.
http://gparted.sourceforge.net/download.php
backup anything important before repartitioning, just in case..Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0 -
Will check them both out.
Thanks for the info.

Download gparted but windows will not open it.
What can I do to open the download?0 -
It is a linux program, so won't work in windows.
To use it, you have to download the livecd iso (which is an image of a CD) and use nero, roxio, burncdcc etc to burn that iso to a CD, then boot from the CD.Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0
