Lambeth code 27: Parked next to a footway lowered to the level of carriageway

Hi

I've been issued a PCN (27):
Parked in a special enforcement area adjacent to a footway. cycle track or verge lowered to meet the level of the carriageway.

It's an entrance to permanently shut gate to a house im living in. even more, there's a construction going on, and they;ve placed a big container on the street, which limits parking spaces, so everyone is parking wherever possible.

Can i get help with disputing this ? There are no signs prohibiting from parking in here, no markings on the street, nothing.. bloddy hell, ITS MY GATE !

Is this a single occupancy property? If so appeal stating it is your own dropped kerb.

Granted google maps is probably a couple of years old but perhaps it might be worthwhile letting Bells Surveyors know about a squatter in a property they are/were acting for

You need to get the police involved here mate, this is outrageous. I am in turmoil just thinking of the emotional distress this must be causing you. As its your gate you will need to prove this, but that should not be a problem should it? The press will be interested as well. I suggest the Daily Mail. You can have your picture taken holding the ticket looking really sad.

Sorry, must disagree. (high horse here) squatter, leeches internet, earns but does not pay taxes. Bet there's more I've not thought of, oh yes no council tax.

Shhhhh! Having had to "deal" with a squatter before I totally agree.
