Can I return a faulty pressure washer after 13 months. It's been used about 10 times and has very little pressure now.

Yes of course you can.sensibleadvice wrote: »Can I return a faulty pressure washer after 13 months. It's been used about 10 times and has very little pressure now.
Have a read of MSE's articles:
In there you will find that you may need to show that the fault isn't due to misuse or fair wear and tear, but I would only worry about that if the seller asks for that proof.0 -
Have you followed the manufacturer's servicing instructions etc fully? Checked all the seals, oiled any bits that need oiling, used a de-limescaling rinse in hard water, whatever they suggest? After 13 months, with long periods of disuse, it may be argued that it has to be stored in some standy configuration (drained, dried, whatever) or they could argue misuse.0

What about after 7 months ??
I bought the 'AA pressure Washer' from Amazon back in August...
Used say every 3 weeks....
Not used in a few weeks mind, but went to use the other day, it no work.... tried different plugs, etc, still dont work...
I bought online from amazon...
Reported to Amazon, they say to contact the manufacturer.....
I always thought the supplier had the onus on dealing with a faulty item upto 12 months ?? or is it the 1st 6 months, and then after you jump through hoops, etc ?0 -
Just called B&Q. They referred me to manufacturer.
They said if I had receipt they could consider exchange otherwise not. Bank statement no good as proof of purchase as the transaction includes other things and also they can't identify items on their system after 12 months.0 -
Was it kept in a shed or garage?0

I bought the AA one on the same Amazon deal. Only used about 4-5 times and now has less power than my kitchen tap:rotfl:
Oh well, I think it was about £18 delivered so I suppose you get what you pay for!
Think I will probably go for the Nilfisk one when it is next on offer.
