A Daily Mirror investigation found a third of ex-council homes sold in the 1980s under Margaret Thatcher were now owned by private landlords.

Well when you sell council houses to people you are about to make redundant or who cannot afford them or allow their offspring to buy them what do you expect?
I wonder if this is the next thread to be moved.Few people are capable of expressing with equanimity opinions which differ from the prejudices of their social environment. Most people are incapable of forming such opinions.0
