New cars just empty your wallet.
Sorry to go slightly off topic, but forgotmyname, you offer this advice against buying new cars daily.
Please just remember how much you'd wish you'd paid the extra for a new/nearly new car, should the worst happen and you were ever involved in a serious accident (which I sincerely hope you never are of course).
It's not only number plates that change - the NCAP tests get tougher every year too.And that my son, is how to waft a towel!0 -
I suppose the OP is buying the car for themselves, when it comes to selling, it is the next buyer's worry, I certainley wouldn't buy a car in fear of what the next owner may want
True, but it is a colour choice rather than the car. Some do consider resale value and depreciation, but if the colour is that important then I agree she should consider it.
Out of the many posts on this forum, how many people say 'they want a pink one' and that they are willing to pay more. Think the words often found on here are 'cheap and reliable':)0 -

I looked up the colour, and it's a colour I have seen , a colleague has a fiesta in that colour, bought brand new and when she saw the advert she wanted that colour and that colour only, it does look nice and is not really a 'girlie' colour for a car.
I remember when I was getting my car and some said don't get red or white (cos of the resale), at the time I wouldn't have got white anyway, but now my next car maybe white and some mfrs are charging extra for white

DUTR, looks great, especially for 8 year old. Looks new.
Even when I bought my then 3 year old, it did not look anywhere as shiny, or as in good nick as yours now.
Looks like a bit more than a hobby Sir!0
