We need to replace our Renault scenic 2005. Looking for something 1-3yrs old.
All the cars we looked at, said the price was as stated on the window:rotfl:
Total waste of time. There must be an easier way to do this
If the price is right in the first place, why should they knock £££'s off, particularly since you're trading in an undesirable Scenic...0 -

Open your wallet and count the money and say, Thats a bit over budget and make them an offer. They say yes you give them the cash and drive away happy.
Or not.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
I think you need to hone your haggling skills. The price on the windscreen is what they want to get, not necessarily the lowest price they will accept. If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.0 -

IF there is a trade in involved, THEN generally speaking you either get a decent price for your trade in OR money off and a crap price - basically the discount you would otherwise get is added on to the price of the trade in.
Its the cost to change that matters.0 -
