Does a `Private tab` or similar name increase ones security when using online banking

Besides using anti virus programs etc does `in private` browsing increase ones security when performing online banking?

Only locally, Private browsing just means the browser wont cache anything.
HTTPS websites for online banking should hopefully have a setting in the sites html that tells the browser that the https connection should only cache for a small time period, Cache-Control: max-age=60 for example will tell the browser to only cache for 1 minute
Private browsing overrides this and just doesn't cache at all0
